How to Fold A Fitted Sheet

Random Post of the week...

I have always wanted to know how to do this... enjoy! ;)

Current Dream Bedroom

Lately I have been admiring other blogs and dreaming of many DIY projects. This room caught my eye immediately. I found it on Three Men and a Lady, and I think I'm in love with this bedroom.

I mean look at this room! I love the colors.... Click on this to see her before and after photos. I am so inspired!

Big, Bold Letters

I couldn't help but share this artsy idea with you all. I have always wanted these bold metallic
letters from Anthropology

But for around $18 a piece, I just could never bring myself to buy them. Then I found this wonderful tutorial from k.f.d. designs showing how to make them for just a couple bucks!

Don't they look awesome? I will have to try this!

Chicken Fettuccine

This dish is one of my comfort foods. My mom used to always make this for me, and it became so popular that even my friends requested it when they came over for dinner! It tastes delicious and is very easy to make.

Here's what you need (for roughly 6 people.... and maybe leftovers, it depends on who you're serving):
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can Alfredo sauce (I love the roasted garlic Alfredo)
1 package fettuccine noodles
2 heads of broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
a handful of baby carrots, sliced
2+ garlic cloves (You really can't go wrong with garlic...)

Here's what you do:
  1. Dice chicken into bite-sized chunks; place in a frying pan with about a tablespoon of olive oil and 2 garlic cloves crushed. Stir occasionally.
  2. Steam broccoli and carrots
  3. Boil the noodles according to package
  4. Microwave Alfredo sauce (however, if you are afraid of deadly microwaves, feel free to simmer the sauce in a small sauce pan)
  5. When everything is done, combine in a large bowl.
Serve this with your favorite garlic bread or a delicious salad. Enjoy this classic dish!

Cheese Fondue

I temporarily misplaced my camera when I made this dish, so I had to borrow a picture from here.

Yes, I know I have not blogged in a while... please forgive my crazy life! One day I will blog as much as I want, but that's just not going to happen for a little while.

On to today's yummy dinner idea. The word "yummy" sometimes goes along with the word "healthy," but not in this case. I would like to tell you this meal is a no fat no calorie dish.... but I want to keep some credibility here. In all reality, you should probably only eat this once every 2 years.

This is such a fun way to eat dinner. I'm considering inviting friends over to hang out just so we can make it again. Or, maybe I'll do chocolate!

What You'll need:
2 c. Gruyere cheese, shredded
2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
3 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Ok, here's what you do:

1. Mix it all together in a fondue pot (or microwave, then put it in a fondue pot)

Whew, aren't you glad that's over!

Ok, now here is the hard part:

2. Dice up your favorite apples into bite-sized cubes
3. Slice kielbasa sausage
4. Slice your favorite French bread

Now dip the goodies into the cheesy goodness. Be sure to share with a friend!

We also added broccoli and asparagus.
What do you dip into your fondue?
